Ohio State Senator Major John Boccieri To Be Included In Russ Feingold's Progressive Patriot Fund's: "Pick A Patriot Online Contest"!

The mission of Senator Feingold's leadership committee, the Progressive Patriots Fund, is to promote a progressive reform agenda and to support Democratic candidates for office across the country. In the spirit of that mission we will be conducting an online voting event starting Thursday, May 8th, and ending on Wednesday, May
14th.

Our goal for this event is to highlight ten of the many strong Democratic challengers running for Congress in 2008. The candidate receiving the most votes will receive a $5,000 contribution from Senator Feingold's leadership PAC. In addition, the winner will be prominently featured on our website. We normally also make smaller contributions to those candidates receiving significant votes.

Ok, now for the bad news...you are all late, I registered my vote at 6:16 AM EDT. Don't let that get you down, though, I cheated. Ian Walton, Campaign Manager for John Boccieri for Congress, slipped me an e-mail last night as to clue me into the upcoming event. OUR time is NOW!

Here's the scoop! All you have to do is go over to "Pick A Patriot Online", do a short registration(the standard e-mail for confirmation), pick the radio dot next to the picture of Ohio State Senator Major John Boccieri for Congress, and click submit. That's as easy as it gets and I don't have any doubts that Russ Feingold's Progressive Patriot for 2008 will be OH-16's John Boccieri!
